Our Story

Payback to the society after self-contemplation

A Brahmin by nature is a Giver. For a brahmin, his society, his nation, his religion is of prime importance. He lives and always toils for it.

Wisdom and knowledge are two important assets for any brahmin. He uses these assets for the welfare and development of the nation and human beings. Unfortunately in India, due to caste politics, Brahmins are now looked down and increasingly victimized.

Shakdwipi Brahmins have been leaders and are well known for their contribution to the specialized field of Ayurveda, Astronomy, religious teachings, Mantras etc.

Aryabhatt, Chankaya, Varahmir, Bhaskaracharya, Kamalakar Bhatt, Kautilya, Pushyamitra Shunga, Vishnu Gupt, Acharya Vishnu Sharma are some of the names among the well known Shakdwipi Brahmins who have given back so much to the society in form of knowledge of different disciplines.

Why One Must Give?

Giving is Taking

When you give something to others selflessly, without any expectation of return, there is an enormous amount of satisfaction and fulfillment of life within Self.

In a way, When you Give, You are taking back these values.

The philosophy of Giving is not only propounded and practiced in Hindutwa, but it is equally followed in other religions too. It is strongly believed that by Giving, one gets back so much in the form of material, Love and blessings from God.

“…The one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 NLT; see also verses 10-14

Giving Back And Making A Difference

Why is it important to help the community?

Giving back to the community makes a difference. We have got so much from the society, right from our childhood and therefore when we are grown up, it is our duty to give back.

One can give back in different forms. One can give in the form of money, services or even oral solaces.

Giving back to the Community always makes a positive impact and makes a better place to live for everyone.

Show Your Generosity At These Events

The pure mind is itself Brahman; it therefore, follows that Brahman is not other than the mind of the sage.

Ramana Maharshi

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

A man is born alone and dies alone; and he experiences the good and bad consequences of his karma alone; and he goes alone to hell or the Supreme abode.
