Our Beliefs and Values
We believe in ‘Surya Puja’ and our Values revolve around God ‘Surya’.
When We talk of beliefs, they are the assumptions we hold to be true. But when we talk of Values, they are the principles, standards or qualities that we as an individual or group of people hold in high regards and practice.
‘Surya’, the Sun or the ‘Aditya’ is the supreme soul who brings light, energy, warmth, and life to the world. When God ‘Surya’ travels the skies, his seven horses drives the chariot through the heavens.

Not only do we worship the rising Sun, but we also celebrate and offer our puja to the setting sun. We celebrate the famous “Chhat Puja” every year from the ancient times.
The ritual of the ‘Chhat’ is performed rigorously over a period of four days. In ‘Chhat Puja’, we perform holy bathing, fasting and abstaining from even drinking water, standing for long durations in pious water of the holy river, lake, pond, or even self-constructed water pools and offer their our prayers to both rising and setting Sun.
